A Special Treat!

The kids love it when Eric gets to take them to school.  This has only happened a couple of times since daddy works out of town but when he does it sure is a SPECIAL TREAT for all!!

Gunner and Charli love spending time with their Pop and YaYa!  We are lucky to live in the same town again so they can see them anytime they like!!  I have so many great memories with my grandparents and I'm so thankful that my kids are building memories that will last a lifetime!!

COWABUNGA Dude....

This Ninja Turtle turned 4 last week...

so of course we had to have a swim party!  Turtles LOVE the water!!

He was lucky to have so many friends, young and old, come out to celebrate!!

Christmas in a Playroom...

This year my parents were living in an apartment because they were building a house so Eric and I hosted our 1st Christmas EVER!!  It was a lot of work getting our house ready for such a big event but it turned out great!! (That is not saying I want to do that EVERY year though!)  We attended Christmas Eve service at ELife where my brother and his new wife attend church.  It was so awesome!  We were lucky to get to spend this Christmas with my Nanny and Larry!  It was a special treat!

Weekend Getaway with Friends!

Every once in a while you just need to get away and have some adult time when you have kiddos!  So we decided to do just that with some good friends, Ramon and Rainnie Neufeld.  We went to Dallas for the weekend last month and it was just what we needed!  It also happened to be the Neufelds 5 year anniversary so we got to celebrate with them!  Here are some pics from our weekend:

We started with a Ranger game!  It was really HOT but lots of fun!  We even stayed for the fireworks show at the end!

We will have our 5 yr anniversary in November!!
